Do you need help with your dog's training but you aren't sure who to trust?
The dog industry is a minefield with lots of uneducated and unqualified trainers offering at best, useless, but often painful and dangerous training methods.
Not only is this a waste of your money but many training methods will actually harm your dog. Correcting your dog's bad or unwanted behaviour might sound logical, but it's actually one of the quickest way to ruin your relationship with your dog and cause lasting damage.
This is the opposite of what my clients want for their dogs and puppies.
Not only am I a qualified dog trainer, I have a diploma in dog behaviour, and I have passed assessments to become a member of several highly esteemed professional organisations.
I will always put you and your dog's welfare as the top priority, and with over 10 years experience and thousands of hours training dogs, I have successfully helped hundreds of dogs learn how to be well mannered, enjoyable family members.
If you would like to learn how to use positive reinforcement training effectively, and join the hundreds of dogs living harmoniously with their family, have a look below at the training options I offer or get in touch here.

"We have been working with Jill on a number of fronts with our two Welsh terriers. Most importantly she has worked tirelessly with us to really understand their personalities and what motivates them and has used her knowledge, patience and experience (with dogs and owners) to really bring positive change to our home. We cannot recommend her 1-2-1 sessions enough and have also found new and fun ways to interact with them and discover their interests and talents through her outdoor group classes." Natalie "I attended a six week block of group training with my boy Baloo. I was anxious to start as he can be nervous around other dogs but Jill put measures in place to help support him and put my mind at rest. "Jill was absolutely fantastic with our wee pug puppy Mac! Don't know what we would have done without her. Always happy to help and be flexible which was great! Highly recommended." Virginia |
"Jill was amazing with our little puppy Diesel. We've had nothing but success with him since working with her - Diesel was CRAZY at the start. Very clever little dog but out of control to the point where some days we'd have to go back to basics. But the time spent has completely paid off as he's now the most loyal and well mannered dog you could ask for. After having struggles with his eating and very sensitive stomach she even gave me samples to try him on which was just so generous of her. We loved every minute of Jill's training and couldn't recommend her enough for training, advice, support or dog walking. She knows her stuff and genuinely cares about you and your dog!!" Courtney "Last night Dexter walked past an empty pizza box, chips and gravy and two beer bottles. This morning he walked past crisp packets, bread and horse poo. Normally I'd need to drag him away. Today, no struggle whatsoever! And even better, we were out at Pollok Park at lunchtime, in the big field next to the Burrell Collection. He ran far ahead of me, very far. I just stopped and waited. After a while he turned round to check on me and I just chucked a treat in front of me. He looked away, looked again. So I threw another treat. And he ran all the way back to me! I didn't need to call his name, try to catch him or walk off in the other direction. It was brilliant. We played a game of tug to celebrate . Thank you, your training is fantastic!" Betty |
"Jill is a great trainer, I don't know where to start! I have a boxer, a bundle of love and character but lacking in manners.. Not because he's stubborn or silly or a clown but because he doesn't know what to do with himself and he was starting to use his comfort toys such as his ball in a negative way that was creating new problems so we enlisted Jill's help. Best thing I've ever done! Change is hard for anyone but Jill's training is delivered in such a positive and gentle way that even after a short time we have made so much progress. Jill is always on hand to listen or advise, never critical and always explains. She is much much more than a trainer. We are now enjoying taking part in outdoor classes. Keep up all your good work Jill! All the dogs and humans need you!" Shona
